Benjamin Grunde, certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Shiatsu Instructor and Watsu Therapist, is licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists.
He has practiced bodywork since 1999.

Benjamin's specialty is in releasing stress and injury trauma from the body in authentic, unforced ways. He offers courses and private training in
therapeutic massage and aquatic bodywork.

Combining movement, pressure and sensitive tracking of the body's responses, he has developed new and transformative methods of activating people's ability to
heal themselves from within.



• Certified Holistic Health Practitioner: Met requirements of 1000 hr. program of study at the
School of Healing Arts, Inc. (San Diego).
He was trained in several modes of Western therapeutic bodywork and as an Instructor of Zen-Touch®, an eclectic form of shiatsu, body reading and macrobiotics.
Study in Chinese Medicine, Western Herbology & Nutrition round his knowledge in holistic healing.


• Certified Watsu® Practitioner: Began training in San Diego and completed with Watsu® originator Harold Dull in Harbin, CA.

• B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego.

• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists & the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since 2002
