Benjamin
Grunde, HHP is in his sixth year of practice
as a licensed massage therapist (OBMT#9273), originally operating in San Diego,
CA. He and his wife, Sheryl, moved to Ashland in 2002 to birth
their children in a peaceful home, away from the city....
This experience, as well as deepened learning in nutritional
healing, aquatic therapy, shiatsu and osteopathy has lead
Benjamin to expand his services and offer much more than a
standard issue massage....
Transformational healing is the aim of Benjamin’s work.
With such fleeting opportunities to touch people’s lives
as a single, brief session, he focuses on touch and encouragement
that will facilitate the greatest shift in the moment for
his clients.
• Certified Holistic Health Practitioner:
Met requirements of 1000 hr. program of study at the School
of Healing Arts, Inc. (San Diego). He trained in several modes
of Western therapeutic bodywork and as Practitioner/Instructor
of Zen-Touch®
(an eclectic form of shiatsu, body reading and lifestyle counseling.)
Study in Chinese Medicine, Western Herbology & Nutrition
round his knowledge in holistic healing.
• Certified Watsu®
Practitioner: Began training in San Diego and completed
with Watsu® originator Harold Dull
in Harbin, CA; currently in training to be Watsu Instructor.
• B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology
at the University of California, San Diego.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists
& the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage
and Bodywork since 2002
